News from China Petroleum NetworkOn February 13th, it was learned that Daqing Oilfield Engineering Construction Company is preparing for the bidding contract, civil engineering contract approval, and other preparatory work for the construction project of the Abu Dhabi Buhasa Oilfield in the United Arab Emirates, which was won in January. This winning bid has achieved a zero breakthrough for this company in the high-end market in the Middle East region.

This project is the largest work package of the Swing project in BuHasa Oilfield, including the expansion, upgrade, renovation, and supporting professional construction tasks such as civil engineering, structure, and process of the central degassing station. After the completion of the project, it will be of great significance for achieving the production target of Buhasa Oilfield and for the owner Abu Dhabi National Oil Company to realize its 2030 development vision.

Since entering the Middle East market in 2010, Daqing Oilfield Engineering Construction Company has always adhered to the fine tradition of "consciously being strict and putting good character first". It has built large-scale projects such as the expansion of the Hafaya CPF1 storage system in Iraq, the water injection pipeline in Missan Oilfield, and the production of 100000 barrels in B9 Oilfield to high standards, establishing the "Daqing Construction" brand in the Middle East market and winning unanimous praise from the client and local government.

In recent years, the International Engineering Division of Daqing Oilfield Engineering Construction Company has vigorously expanded and optimized its layout in the Middle East market. On the basis of creating a "ballast stone" for the Iraqi market, it firmly grasped the good opportunity of onshore oil production in the United Arab Emirates. After six months of review and business contracting evaluation, it successfully obtained the qualification to join the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company in July 2024, opening the door to market access in the United Arab Emirates. It will take this opportunity to strive to turn the new growth point in the Middle East market into a new growth pole for overseas business.
