The switched reluctance dual power workover rig mainly consists of a self-made workover rig dedicated chassis, a diesel engine power unit, an electric transmission unit composed of a switched reluctance motor and a transfer case, an angle transmission box, a winch, a derrick assembly, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems, a power access box, an MCC control cabinet, an electric air compressor, an electric hydraulic pump station, etc.
Diesel engine power is used for heavy-duty well repair operations such as driving and unblocking of workover rigs, while switched reluctance motor power is used for normal lifting and lowering operations.
